Revival...Bigger Than the Vessels
Revival is God's way of invading the ordinary. Revival is also much larger than the vessels He may use to usher it into the earth. Bigger than the personalities we tend to seek after,
Holy Spirit wants to be center stage in this and coming moves of God in the earth. Just look at some of the places that He is currently at work:
DENVER, COLORADO Revival reports indicate that the current move of the Holy Spirit is spreading. Denver, Colorado is beginning it's
fourth week of revival hosted by David & Stephanie Herzog (The Glory Zone). Signs and
wonders are occurring at this venue as well.
KANSAS CITY, MISSOURI On May 2, 2008 revival fires reignited at World Revival Church. WRC is the new name and location for what was the host church for the Smithton Outpouring of Smithton, Missouri. Pastored
by Steve and Kathy Gray, the Smithton Outpouring began in March of 1996 and continued for several years. With crowds from fifty states and seventy nations, the Smithton congregation basically was larger than the
small town of 532 could hold. A similar limitation was experienced by Barton Stone in the 1801 Cane Ridge Revival where, after approximately two weeks, sufficient food and provision for the massive crowds had run
out. They outgrew their venue.
LAKELAND, FLORIDA The Florida Outpouring continues at Ignited Church in Lakeland, Florida. Well over one hundred days of constant
revival with signs, wonders, and miracles continuing. Although one may experience a tremendous touch by watching via the internet, nothing compares to the strength of the anointing that is present in the Lakeland
meetings. My personal experience and the testimony of many others attests to this distinction. If you can get to the Lakeland venue, you need to make every effort to go.
Pastor Stephen Strader, the host pastor of Ignited Church is working with a number of Lakeland area pastors via the "Lakeland Alliance" as a joint team of churches to host the Florida Outpouring. This is a tremendous example of unity and solidarity for this move of God.
FORT MILL, SOUTH CAROLINA MorningStar Ministries in Fort Mill continues to host revival meetings as a result of the touch of God upon
them ever since some high school students attend the Lakeland meetings in early April and brought the touch of God with them.
UGANDA The same night that revival services commenced at Ignited Church in Lakeland, a move of God began in Uganda where they have held
continuous services since that time.
UNITED KINGDOM Multiple locations in the United Kingdom are hosting revival meetings. England, Ireland and other locales are
experiencing the touch of God.
TORONTO, CANADA Toronto Christian Fellowship is also hosting meetings with some of Todd Bentley's associate evangelists. John Arnott
has visited the Lakeland meetings on multiple occasions and is delighted at what God is doing. We should never be jealous of the move of God and the persons he uses or the locations he chooses. Jealousy is a limiter
- love frees! John and Carol are wonderful examples of "rejoicing with those who rejoice" (Romans 12:15)
One prophetic word given early on about the Lakeland meetings was that those who had previously been hosts of moves of God would be given the opportunity to be hosts again. We are
seeing this promise fulfilled.

JUDGMENT SEAT OR DRIVER'S SEAT Another vital point to remember is simply this: this move of God is not about Todd Bentley or any other
"personality" who happens to simply be a vessel. Many pastors and lay people alike have devoted themselves to criticizing some of these revivals or the vessels, but I am not aware of any of these critics who have
ever been the hosts of a revival for any extended period of time. Unless you have I don't think you can legitimately criticize. If we wish to criticize we, then we need to be available to "do it right" ourselves! I
don't plan on throwing any stones at Todd Bentley -- if you've arrived maybe you can. Remembering the word that says, "Let him that thinks he stand, take heed lest he fall." Be careful what you put your mouth on!
Don't be foolish enough to think you are someone God has to get approval from to do something. Take Gamaliel's advice (Acts 5:38-39) and realize that if it is of God we had better not
buck it, if it's not of God, He can shut it down. Don't get in the judgment seat if you've never been in the driver's seat.
Don't let revival pass you by. Come and get some!
