Prophetic Insights for 2008
A Year of Extremes
2008 will be a year of extremes in many arenas. Some will find themselves in extreme situations and then they will see
extreme deliverances occur for them. I do this to stretch them and those around them to see the working of God in their midst. I'll stretch My people and require them to hear from Me
and hear for My people. A shifting of responsibility is occurring for the body of Christ and for those who have been in this walk for quite a long time. What they did as they
"played" at church for many years, they can no longer do. I'll require of them a new discipline and consistency in their walk with Me. I'll require that they step up to the
plate. Some who have held onto relationships that I have desired to sever due to emotional ties and emotional baggages, will find themselves in lonely places because
I have moved on to the next thing and they have not. They are still lingering around a place hoping that the touch they once felt will continue to be felt by them. It's not that
I don't love them…quite the opposite. They are retarding their own growth by their refusal to cut ties that I have already cut. The rope has been cut and they are
constantly trying to run back and re-tie what I have severed. They don't understand the workings of the Law of Exchange in their life. They don't understand the shifting of
seasons and I'll not speak to some of them anymore about it. Their chronos and topos is now past in their life. Their opportunity to enter in and shine has now shifted.
"I'll not always strive with man" you have heard in relation to whether I'll continue to woo a man or woman who has been rejecting Me, yet the same principle applies in
this arena as well. I'll not always strive with man. I'll move on. I will say – "Next." And you'll be sitting at the station with the ticket in your hand and the train has already
moved on and left the station. The ticket doesn't do you much good of you don't get on the train when it's pulling out of the station and you aren't on it. So be sure to
make every effort to get on when I say get on and get off when I say get off. Don't try to reason everything out that goes on around you. I'm not asking for your approval
with My instructions to you – I'm asking for your obedience. I don't need your vote.
Obedience is not a Democratic Process
The body in this country has treated obedience like a democratic process assuming
that your vote was necessary to validate an instruction. Your vote is not required, nor is it requested in most cases when it comes to an instruction from My Spirit. I know
what your future holds. I know what is best for you. Father Knows Best! Remember that.
When you want to step over into reasoning with Me over an instruction, understand that when you step into reason, you step OUT of faith. The two don't coincide often
because I'll do things that don't make sense to your natural mind so that faith can step up to the plate and operate in your life. Some have developed much faith in
certain areas of their life and no faith at all in other areas. I want to build a people of well-rounded faith...well-rounded understandings of My Word, and well-rounded
obedience. I will ask you to do things that seem crazy, but when viewed with the eyes of your spirit make a great deal of sense when you know what I know.
Creative Prophetic Moves
I'll have you make creative prophetic moves that makes your pride and your mind go
"tilt", but when you step out and obey, you find that I bring much joy to you and to the working of My Spirit. I want to stretch you beyond what your flesh can endure so that
you have to depend upon Me and My presence working in your life. You have to have Me working for you and in your life. You have to have My functioning in your life in every area.
A Year of Distinctive Victories
2008 will be year of distinctive victories in many lives. Victories in areas that were just
months before considered impossible to expect. Victories of restoration and restitution will occur. Prophesy restoration and restitution to come into the earth right
now. Prophesy its demanded arrival. Prophesy its imminent manifestation in the earth and particularly here. This is where I have placed you and I've given you a voice in the
spirit that must be heard here. Do not be intimidated by the threats of the enemy to rob and steal from you in any arena. I'll bring absolute victory to you in areas in which
the enemy has tried to hold you hostage. I'll bring absolute victory to you in areas where the enemy has sought to rob and steal from you. I'll cause you to live
prophetically in these arenas as well as coming into understandings of how I want to manifest it in this city. Those that have been ripped off by their employers will find their past wages restored and restitution wrought.
Cries of Justice & Songs of Deliverance
Cries of justice must continue and accelerate here in this season. Cries for injustice to
cease must ring out in the earth at this time. Songs of deliverance must come forth in stronger measure than before. Demand restoration in the spirit. Place a demand on the spirit for it to come in full force.
Dealing With Idols of Offense & Woundedness
I'll be dealing even more strongly in the coming year with the idols of offense in the
lives of My people. I want them free of offense so they might be free to hear clearly and see clearly the things I am saying and doing. Idols of offense are to have no place
in your life. Idols of woundedness where you are constantly focused on the wounds you've experienced are to be laid down and not picked up again. I'm calling for "laid
down lives" in 2008. The year of new beginnings implies that there had to be a death of something. Unless a grain of wheat falls to the ground and die, it abides alone….
Whatever in you that is not worth living needs to die. It's season for living is over. Its season for increase in your life is over.
Live by the Opposite Spirit
I want to talk even more in the next while about living by the opposite spirit.
Dust off the words of the Lord
Dust off the old words of the Spirit to you and see what I'll do with them. Give them a
fresh dose of faith so they might germinate into the purpose of God I intended for you. Some of you who have not operated in giftings and callings I placed upon your life are
to see a new release of it in the coming days. Not years, not months…but days! I want to bring forth some quick releases in your life in order to accomplish My purposes for this time.
Run into 2008!
You have a choice of whether to run into this new year or come dragging along. The
race goes to the swift! Not to the timid. It will be won by the bold. Take a look at your life and see where the enemy has tricked you into holding back and keeping a lid on
your involvement in kingdom things and readjust yourself. You are not to hold back, but to go forward. Go forth in the name and power of the Lord of Hosts.
New Boldness
A new level of boldness shall be required in this year. New beginnings require new
strategies. New beginnings require new attitudes. New beginnings require new resolutions of determinations of the will. Not merely deciding with the mind, but
deciding with the heart, mind and body – fervent decisions coupled with fervent declarations of faith. Fervent prayers...fervent actions of faith. The words of your
mouth and the actions of your body are to match more closely than ever before in 2008. You are not merely to "say" – the will of the LORD, but to demonstrate it in this
time. Not merely acquiesce to a thing, but to firmly, resolutely, wholeheartedly go forth in the power and spirit of the LORD to bring forth into the earth what is
necessary for the coming seasons. Reach forth with both hands for what God has in mind for you in this time. Grasp strongly and don't let go!
Dealing with Lazy Faith
I'll deal with you in arenas of your life in which you have lazy faith -- faith that doesn't
want to stretch out in an arena. I'll deal to pull you out of zones of comfort into very uncomfortable places. I'll not allow you to remain in places where you hold onto the
old and forsake the new. You are to forsake the old and take hold of the new. That which did not get you where you needed to be in 2007 and before needs to be let go
of in lieu of that which will get you where you are to go in this new season and year. I've got things in mind for you in this time that require new dimensions of faith. You've
allowed yourself the luxury of lazy faith. You believe Me concerning speaking and tongues, but will not exercise your faith for discerning of spirits of working of miracles
. Your day has now shifted. Your lazy faith days are over. I'll require you to shore up the areas of weakness in your life so you might possess what is yours to possess and access what is yours to access in these days.
Not a Common Thing
I'm not doing a common thing here in this city, so don't consider it a repeat of the past
. I've been working to bring about something entirely unlike anything you've experienced before in this city, so be careful not to mock what I'm doing or how I'm
going about it. You've had the wagging tongues paying attention to you. You – you just walk in love. I'll deal with the wagging tongues. I'll deal with the troublemakers. I'll
require of them to deal with their false judgments and false accusations…you just seek to walk in love and unity. Let unity build the work of God in this time and in this
city. Do not succumb to the desires of the religious or the tug of the religious upon your sleeve to try to talk you into doing this thing or that thing. Do what I instruct and leave the rest alone.
Separation
I'm separating more and more the wheat from the tares. Allow the wind of My Spirit to
blow through your life to drive away the chaff. The unnecessary parts of your life that distract you and interfere with your life I'm calling you to look at and deal with. Some things I'll put out of your life, but other things you must put out of your life. A Father
doesn't do everything for his son. He allows the son to make some of required moves to manhood...so it is with you.
Make the Moves to Manhood
Make the moves to manhood this year. Make the moves to manhood in your purposes
and callings for this time. Arrest quickly the distractions and peace thieves that operate in and around your life. Guard your peace so it can guard you. Guard your love
so it can guard you. Guard your joy so it can guard you. Live a life of guarded surrender. Guarded against surrendering to the forces of darkness, but unguarded in your total surrender to Me.
Remember when you were a small child and you knew about Me and you just wanted to whatever it took to please Me? I'm calling you back to that childhood abandon.
Don't abandon your purposes. Abandon the things that rob your purpose.
Wholly Abandon
I'm calling in from the north, south, east, and west those especially appointed for this
time. Some have said in their heart – I want to hear the word of the LORD from so and so, but I'll not oblige the idols of men's hearts in that way. I've called you to higher
purposes and choices in the love walk I have in mind for you, so don't fall for the second rate and the unnecessary. Give yourself wholly in abandon to Me and My
design for you. Give yourself wholly in abandon to what I have for you.
Continual Progress
You've made much progress in the spirit in the past while, but much more is to be
done in this time. The enemy has tried to set you up so that if you took one step forward you took two steps backward, but understand that I'm the one arranging and
ordering your steps – not him. I'll come in and sweep his workings into a pile of totally unusable debris. One puff of My Spirit can so quickly and entirely annihilate his
workings as to make them look like a pile of cinders before you. So don't be afraid of your enemies. I'm not worried about his antics, nor should you be. Don't consult him to
see how you should respond. You act…that will cause him to react. You are to be an offensive army living without offense. Not a defensive army living without defense.
I'm building a different kind of people for a very different time, so enjoy what I'm working. Enjoy Me. Enjoy My presence. Enjoy My working in your life right now. Enjoy Me.
New Level of Contentment
A new level of not just joy, but absolute contentment will come upon many in this next
year as they are fully satisfied that they have embraced the will of God for their life for this time. That which had tried to be, or seemed to be so elusive to them, they
have run directly into and they have found their utter and complete sense of joy and satisfaction in. This will transcend their expectations as they have seasons of this
utter satisfaction. It is for them replevin -- a divine decree of restoration in their behalf.
Maher Shalal Hash Baz
It is Maher shalal hash baz – rapid recovery of the spoils of the people of God. Make
the declaration of Maher shalal hash baz for you and your house. Make the declaration of Maher shalal hash baz for the house to which you are assigned. Make
the declaration of Maher shalal hash baz for the city in which you live. Declare it and see it begin to work in and for you in this time.
