Guard Your Words

Guard your declarations and guard all your decrees;

Make sure what you are saying only comes from me.

Don't give place to darkness by speaking all those lies.

The power of the tongue will bring openness to your eyes.


You've set yourself against me when you speak the things not true

By giving place to satan to work those things in you.

For giving words of darkness a place within your life

Brings envy and confusion, brings darkness and brings strife.


I called you to much better, I've called you as My own

So speak the words that I speak, that come straight from My throne.

I'm speaking only good things, that bring much change about

That works in you such good things that you would like to shout.


So set yourself in with Me to do the things I do;

To say what I am saying, to go when I say go.

Give no place to the devil for he would so deceive

And make you think its coming from the prince of Peace


But life doesn't give out darkness, nor apples give out pears;

Remember life is coming forth from those things you declare.

I do not ask a hard thing, these lips of yours to guard;

I just recall Me asking you, to give Me all your heart.


For much I am now doing upon the earth this day,

But saints whose talk is frivolous just gets in the way.

I need your words to matter, to not fall to the ground;

I need holy declarations in the heavens to resound.


You cannot speak so lightly and expect My hand to move;

When your word cannot be trusted to do the things I do.

So let your 'yes' be 'yes' alone And let your 'nay' be 'nay',

And give me room to work upon the earth this final day.


For miracles will flow for you when My Word you will speak,

And give no place to doubt to shout or make your vessel leak.

The fresh oil that is flowing needs vessels that are pure,

So guard those lips and guard that heart and let My Word endure.


I've much to do among you as you listen to My voice,

And make My will to always be your one and only choice.

So daily let Me search your heart and clean those inner rooms,

And cleanse your heart from false decrees and judgments that bring doom.


I've called you into blessing, not to a life of fear,

So watch your lips and hear My heart and let Me be so near.

Miracles are waiting to come from these lips of yours,

As you release the grace of God and open prison doors.


Your words they are not small things, for death and life they bring;

To save and heal and set men free, and praises to Me sing.

On this day I call to you, to change the way you speak,

And see Me bring the miracles you so desperately seek.
